What are the operating hours of the building?
Tours and meetings are by appointment only. Events must end by 10pm Sunday- Thursday, and 11pm Friday and Saturday.
What is the rental fee and what does it include?
The rental fee varies on the type of event you have and what day of the week you hold your event.
What’s the maximum number of guests the site can handle?
We can successfully accommodate up to 150 guests with room for a dance area. However, for ceremonies, we can only accommodate up to 140 guests seated.
Will the site be shared with another wedding group?
The venue will be reserved for only one event group per rental period.
How many hours does the rental fee reserve the space?
All event allotted time will be discussed prior to the signing of the contact. General packages and prices are for 7 hour rental.
Do you have an in-house caterer or list of preferred caterers?
We do have in-house available. We also have a list of caterers that have proven to do a great job for their customers.
Can I choose my own caterer?
At The View, we firmly believe in giving you the freedom to select all of your own vendors with the exception of your cash bar vendor. We do have a list of preferred vendors available, but you are not limited to those vendors. If you decide to select your own caterer, they must be insured and have a current business permit.
Are there adequate kitchen facilities?
How do I reserve The View for my event?
To secure your date, a 30% non-refundable retainer is required, along with a signed contract. (Please refer to the contract for payment plans and cancellations.)
How do I schedule a site visit?
It would be a pleasure to give you a tour of our venue. Just give us a call or email, and we will set up a time and date that is convenient for you.
Are candles or other open flames allowed?
Open flames are strictly prohibited unless approved.
Do you allow smoking?
There is a strict no smoking policy inside the building. However, we do have a patio and balcony which are both designated smoking areas.
Is The View wheelchair accessible? How close is the parking to the venue?
Yes, we are handicap accessible. Parking is very close to the venue as well.
Am I responsible for any of the cleaning?
All items brought in by you, your vendors, or your guests will need to be removed the same day.
Can we cook onsite?
No, we do not allow onsite cooking. All food needs to arrive fully cooked and ready to serve.
Does The View provide security and if so, how many guards?
The View does provide 1 security officer. However, depending on the guest count, additional security will be required.
Does The View provide house staff before and during the event?
The View provides staff for clean up and set up (Trash monitoring, bathroom attendants and venue supervisor during the hours of the event).
Is there internet or Wi-Fi provided on-site?
We provide basic WI-FI. Password will be given prior to event to vendors.
Are food & beverage services permitted in the venue?
It is highly recommended that clients select The View’s in house caterers for your dining pleasure or a caterer from our Preferred Vendors list. This list is comprised of caterers who have an established relationship with The View, are familiar with the facilities and the required rules and regulations, respects The View’s mission and have excellent reputations. If there will be alcohol served at your event, you will have to go with our in house cash bar option.
